Does Rakwa POS really work without internet?
Yes. With a Branch Box (hybrid or sovereign mode) the branch keeps taking orders, sending tickets to the kitchen and printing receipts through a full outage, then syncs when the connection returns. In cloud mode the iPads need internet.
Which devices do I need?
iPads running iPadOS 18 or later for the register, kitchen display, kiosk and customer display. Waiters, managers and the time clock can also use iPhone. Receipt, kitchen and label printers connect over the network or Bluetooth.
Can I move my menu over from my current POS?
Yes. Export your items to Excel or CSV and import them in the console; Rakwa previews every row, flags problems and lets you fix them before anything is saved.
Is the whole system available in Arabic?
Every screen of the iPad app, the console, the guest QR menu and the receipts is available in Arabic and English with a proper right-to-left layout. Staff can switch language for themselves.
Is it ready for UAE e-invoicing?
Rakwa produces PINT-AE (UBL 2.1) invoice data today and shows a readiness check for your company profile. Submission goes through an FTA-accredited service provider once your business is in scope and you have appointed one. See UAE compliance.
Where is my data stored?
In cloud and hybrid mode, in the Rakwa cloud. In sovereign mode, only on the Branch Box in your premises. You can export your company's data at any time.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Choose a plan to keep going. Your menu, settings and data stay as they are. If you do not continue, the trial simply ends.
