Rakwa POS is a product of Rakeen Software. Trade licence [Trade licence number]. VAT TRN [VAT TRN].
1. Agreement
These terms apply when you start a trial, sign an order form or use Rakwa POS. If you accept them for a company, you confirm you may bind that company. An order form or written agreement may add to these terms; if they conflict, the signed document wins.
2. Accounts
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your workspace, users and devices.
- Keep sign-in details private, use two-step verification or passkeys for owners and admins, and tell us quickly about any suspected misuse.
3. Trials
We may offer a 14-day free trial. We can limit or end a trial that is misused or creates a security or operational risk. Data entered in a trial stays available if you subscribe.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Plans, prices, included branches and devices, add-ons, billing period and taxes are set out in your order form or subscription confirmation. Prices are in UAE dirhams and exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, fees are payable in advance and are not refundable once a billing period or paid service has started. If an invoice is overdue we may, after notice, limit the workspace; we will not block sales in progress without warning.
5. Hardware
Branch Boxes, printers and other hardware supplied by us are covered by the terms on your quote, including delivery, warranty and returns.
6. Your data
Your business owns the data it enters into Rakwa. You give us the rights we need to host and process it to provide the service. We handle personal data as described in the Privacy policy and the Data processing agreement. You can export your data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after it ends.
7. Our software
Rakwa and its licensors keep all rights in the software, apps, designs and documentation. You may use them only for your business during your subscription, and you must follow the Acceptable use policy.
8. Third-party services
Integrations with delivery platforms, payment providers, accounting software, Apple services and others depend on those providers and their terms. We are not responsible for their availability or changes.
9. Not tax or legal advice
Rakwa provides tools, calculations and reports, including for VAT, e-invoicing and payroll. You remain responsible for your filings and for checking them with your advisers.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at the end of any billing period. We may suspend or end access for serious breach, non-payment after notice, or a legal requirement. On termination, you can request an export of your data within 30 days; after that we may delete it, subject to backup cycles and legal retention.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of [Emirate]. The courts of that Emirate have jurisdiction, unless your order form says otherwise.
